On Tuesday March 15th Central Valley Cable TV, (CVC) successfully completed it’s microwave backhaul link from Santa Rosa, Ca. to its facilities on Fish Rock Rd in Gualala. The link has been licensed for 100 Mbps of bandwidth and is scalable up to 250 Mbps. The additional bandwidth will allow for CVC to expand it’s service area to fill the void left by Esplanade, and beyond. CVC is in the process of ordering equipment and securing facilities for the expansion.

Weather permitting, CVC expects to begin offering service just north of it’s existing footprint within weeks continuing northward with project completion expected by month end of April.

Check back for more information regarding CVC’s services and continued updates as the project gets underway.
